Leading Transformation in Asia
Cambridge Judge Business School's Centre for International Human Resource Management (CIHRM) will deliver a three-day thought leadership event "Leading Transformation in Asia" in partnership with Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) in Singapore, from 13-15 April 2011 in Villa Halia, Singapore.
Developing a 'fit for purpose' organisation aligned to strategy and fast-paced and complex operating environments is a key business challenge. Research demonstrates that organisations that are capability rich in terms of people, systems, values and cultures, are far more likely to maximise market opportunities and resist competitive challenge. Drawing upon global insights and with specific application to the Asian context, this event explores leading practice in terms of organisational transformation, capabilities and the role of leadership in driving and embedding change.
Aimed at leaders of change, C-level executives, chief HR officers and HRD directors, this highly interactive event has been specifically designed to provide delegates with the tools and insights they need to effectively develop a culture and process for change; providing a framework for driving transformational change in Asia. In addition the event will offer personal development and networking opportunities for delegates.
Specific learning outcomes for the delegates include:
- Understanding implications of change on organisation strategy
- Applying different change architectures
- Understanding the roles, tools and skills of the change agent in Asia
- Developing strategies to make change happen
- Addressing challenges that impact change
- Engaging key stakeholders and employees
The faculty leading the event include Dr Philip Stiles and Dr Jonathan Trevor, Co-Directors of CIHRM, as well as Kwan Chee Wei, Executive Director of the Human Capital Leadership Institute. In addition delegates will also benefit from panel discussions with senior executives representing government and corporate organisations.
CIHRM brings together companies and researchers to learn about state-of-the art research findings and innovative advances in practice. Their partnership approach provides a forum for intellectual thought-leaders throughout the world to collaborate and shape relevant and rigorous research agendas. HCLI a partner of Singapore Management University (SMU) is working towards becoming the premier institution for raising human capital management capabilities in Asia.
Registration for this event closes on 29 March 2011.
